Top 3 Reasons to Take Engagement Photos
You’re engaged, congrats!! You may be in the early stages of wedding planning, scrolling through Pinterest for wedding inspiration and making to-do lists. Something you may be thinking about is your engagement session and if you should have photos taken? Before you rule them out, consider these 3 reasons for why you should have engagement photos taken!
To celebrate your engagement
You’re only engaged for a small period of time. You deserve to celebrate this sweet season of your life together with photos you can always look back on. After your engagement session is over, keep the fun going and treat yourselves to a date night while you’re all dressed up!
2. You’ll have nice photos for save-the-dates (and your wedding website!)
Whether you’re making your own save the dates or working with a pro to create custom wedding invitations, you may want a photo incorporated. Having a variety of professional photos will make this much easier than digging through your cell phone for an old photo to use. (Plus your designer will thank you for a high quality image!)
3. Get comfortable in front of the camera
For most people, this is the first time they've hired a professional photographer and the thought of having a camera in your face can be a little scary, simply because you don't know what to expect.
